Barra FIT Performance classes are based on the extremely popular High Intensity Interval Training sessions (similar to crossfit) that are commonly called HIIT workouts. HIIT training involves repeated bouts of high intensity effort, followed by varied recovery times. Martial Artists are known to be the most fit and best-conditioned athletes. Interval training plays an integral part of training programs for many years because the benefits over cardio or traditional weight lifting.

This is because HIIT workouts tend to burn more calories than traditional workouts, and continue to burn even after the workout. Barra FIT Drills

Perfect for current Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Martial Arts practitioners, the Barra Fit Drills program incorporates strong elements of sport Jiu-Jitsu and interval training into one killer workout, burning up to 1000 calories per session. Gracie Barra Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world champions use this training program to prepare for competitions. It is designed to improve speed, reflex, sharpen technique and greatly improve conditioning.
